A charming one man show by the author of the marvellous childrens' book

Fishing for Rainbows

Fans of Jacqueline Wilson, Phil Earle and Anthony McGowan will love Fishing for Rainbows, written and performed by Oliver Sykes.

The show is inspired by Oliver’s own experience of being raised in poverty by his single-parent dad of Romany heritage, Fishing for Rainbows follows 12-year-old Kezia, and her boisterous twin brothers, Duke and Danior, who are also growing up in a single parent family after the death of their mum.

While her brothers regularly fish with their dad, Kezia stays at home, cooking and cleaning, until one day, when she is called upon to prove what she can do with a fishing rod… What could possibly go wrong…?

You can buy tickets on the door. Adults’ tickets are £5, Children’s’ tickets are £3 and a group ticket (for up to two adults and three children) is only £10. This wonderful show is suitable for children over 5.
